Personal information and business records

This distinction applies to business owners, managers and staff. A person can have private activity alongside their business work.

Your personal profile and recovery email belong to you. Business-owned emails, customer records, jobs, documents and business listings stay with the business when access is removed. A business role does not grant access to another person’s private recovery details.

Choose personal ownership for items you privately sell or hire out, and business ownership for items belonging to a business. Where an app supports both, this choice must control who can manage the listing and transaction; where an item is physically stored does not decide who owns it.

Garage Sale and Hire connections are still being completed. Adding a recovery email here does not move, merge or change access to existing listings. Details you deliberately publish on a seller profile remain public.
